What your Sunglasses say to Women
By Sarah George
The mouth may lie to you, but the eyes will always speak the truth. They are the window that takes you inside the soul.
When a man is in love with a woman, a smart woman can tell just by looking deep into his eyes. It’s not my theory. It’s proven science. The eyes dilate when a guy is talking to a woman he is attracted to.
And when it comes to flirting, eyes also give you hints about a person’s intentions. As a woman, I have learned to trust the way a guy looks at me rather than listening to his well-practiced seduction speech.
Eyes can tell women more than you want them to say. The way you look at the world gives significant details about your personality.
So what happens when the eyes are hidden behind sunglasses? Men might think they can hide their true intentions behind their glasses, but an intuitive woman can read through the shades? Here is what your sunglasses are saying.
– The famous Aviator sunglasses will never go out of fashion, but guys, you need to be careful with how you wear them and what you wear them with. When the Aviator glasses fit your face, you can look like Lieutenant Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun. But if you’re wearing those same glasses with a gold watch or gold necklace, you will look more like you have the ego of Tom Cruise.
Wayfarer sunglasses are common but never outdated. I like to call these the seductive glasses. This vintage look increases the curiosity of women. These sunglasses hide a part of your face and women want to know what is behind it. Wayfarer are a safe choice for sunglasses for guys because they’re trendy, popular but a little originality that comes across as fashionable. Remember, if you wear these glasses, you better keep up with the image you’re giving off.
– The Clubmaster model is a bold choice. It shows you are confident with your look and do not care about being judged. Hipsters love it and chic people turn it into their own brand style. This is my personal favorite. I cannot resist these shades.
– The colorful sunglasses tell you more about the personality of a guy than you think. Depending on the color, these sunglasses will reveal a guy’s sexual orientation. If he’s wearing green sunglasses, he’s a heterosexual, but i f he’s wearing purple or pink, he’s not into you. These sunglasses also suggest the guy doesn’t want to grow up, is stuck in his childhood, and desperately needs to party.
Oakley sunglasses are not yoru regular pair of sunglasses. This guy likely goes too far with life. If you ever meet a guy wearing Oakleys (and he’s not riding a bike), you can assume he is an adrenaline junkie who loves traveling and outdoor sports.
If you spot a guy wearing large fake diamond sunglasses, you can be sure it belongs to an Eastern European man. The shinier the better, apparently. Obviously, it is all about showing off, whether you have something to show or not.
Vintage sunglasses made their way back to our closets a couple of years ago. Their owner found them in a vintage shop (obviously) or stole them to their granddad. You find those sunglasses on the nose of intellectual people willing to assert their free-mind spirit. It is an audacious fashion choice.
My final advice: don’t buy sunglasses solely for the sake of picking up a girl because sooner or later you will take off those sunglasses and she will see your true personality. And, don’t forget to always take off your sunglasses when you meet a girl for the first time. Give her a chance to read into your eyes.
